In the pre-dawn hours of a spring Saturday, the life of Larry Moore Jr., a 27-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On May 23, 2015, at approximately 12:50 a.m., the sound of gunfire echoed through the Weaver Way area of Boston's Roxbury neighborhood. When police arrived at the scene near 70 Weaver Way, they found Moore suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
