On July 2, 2016, a tragic incident occurred in Hazel Crest, Illinois, resulting in the deaths of 3-year-old India Neeley, her 10-year-old sister Elle Neeley, and their 39-year-old father Dionus Neeley. The family was found shot to death inside their home on Crescent Drive. The incident was reported to the police around 2:20 a.m. after neighbors heard gunshots and a woman screaming. The victims were transported to local hospitals, where they were pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
