Jose Ernesto Martinez, a 30-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on September 26, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side of the city. Martinez was walking on the sidewalk in the 5100 block of South Washtenaw when he was approached by a 16-year-old suspect, Dominick Debock, who exited a gray Honda CRV driven by 29-year-old Martin Bendik.
