On a gray Sunday afternoon in early January 2017, Abdallah Y. Abdallah, an 18 year old male sat behind the wheel of a Lexus on the 600 block of West 16th Street in Chicago Heights when gunfire shattered the quiet.
Officers called to the scene around 3 p.m. found the 18 year old slumped in the driver's seat with a gunshot wound to the head; a second victim, a 20 year old man, was discovered nearby with a wound to his arm.
