Keswan T. Simmons, a 23-year-old African American male from Bettendorf, was tragically killed on February 2, 2017, in Moline, Illinois. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. near the Westwood Terrace Apartments, close to the Jewel Osco store. Moline police responded to multiple reports of gunshots and found Simmons with fatal gunshot wounds. An autopsy later confirmed that he died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
