Death by Force

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, 17-year-old Giovanni Flores of Moline, Illinois, was fatally shot along with 19-year-old Zachary Meincke in the early morning hours. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of 31st Street in Moline, where police responded to a call about an unknown problem and found both victims dead from gunshot wounds in the basement of a house. Giovanni Flores died from a gunshot wound to the head, while Zachary Meincke suffered gunshot wounds to both the head and chest.
