Ira Moore, a 67-year-old Vietnam veteran and double amputee, was tragically murdered in his Berwyn, IL home on March 31, 2017. His wife, Tommie Moore, aged 70, also suffered the same fate. The couple was found shot in the head, and Tommie was additionally stabbed multiple times. The crime scene showed no signs of forced entry, indicating that the perpetrator was someone familiar to the couple.
Roger Scoby, a 40-year-old hospital transport driver, was arrested and charged with the murders.
