Anastasios S. Thomas Pavlopoulous, a 27-year-old male of Greek descent, tragically lost his life on February 10, 1980, in Berwyn, Illinois. His death was the result of a violent incident during a robbery at the Empire Jewelry Store. Pavlopoulous, along with Danilo Rodica, was murdered by Walter Stewart, who also attempted to kill the store's owner, Linda Manzano. The robbery and subsequent murders were part of a larger criminal act that shocked the local community.
