April Pryor, a 24-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on May 22, 2017, in Woodridge, Illinois. The incident was a devastating case of domestic violence that culminated in a murder-suicide. April Pryor, who was seven months pregnant at the time, was shot and killed by her husband, Shedrick Pryor, aged 32. The couple's unborn child also did not survive the incident.
