Joshua K. Jackson, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2017, in Riverdale, Illinois. He was shot in the head in the 14000 block of South Atlantic Avenue, as confirmed by the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The incident left the community in shock and mourning, as Joshua succumbed to his injuries nearly a month later.
