Ernie Gardner, a 36-year-old man from Chicago, IL, died on August 15, 2017, due to complications from multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred on June 28, 2017, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, specifically in the 4000 block of West Division. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, his death was ruled a homicide.
