William Elliott, a 70-year-old man, was tragically killed on March 20, 2001, in Salisbury, Maryland. Elliott and his wife had been out collecting rent payments and had just returned to their home on Airport Road. As they pulled into their garage, they were suddenly attacked. While Mrs. Elliott was assaulted and the rent money was stolen, William Elliott got out of his vehicle and was shot.
