Tyrone Anthony, a 17-year-old African American male from Chicago Heights, IL, was tragically shot and killed on September 16, 2017. The incident occurred in an open lot at the southwest corner of 15th Street and Wallace Street in Chicago Heights. Officers responding to the scene found Tyrone with a gunshot wound to the chest at approximately 1:13 p.m. He was transported to St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, where he was pronounced dead at 1:57 p.m. An autopsy confirmed that Tyrone died from ...
