Jerry Minard, a 24-year-old male, tragically lost his life on December 24, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. He was a victim of a double shooting that occurred on the Southwest Side of Chicago. Minard was in a vehicle heading south in the 5900 block of South Western when a van pulled alongside them in traffic, and someone inside the van opened fire. Minard was struck in the head and was immediately taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead the following day.
