On January 11, 2018, 33-year-old Uriah Hughes, a male from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Around 11:30 a.m., Hughes and a 26-year-old man were getting into a vehicle in the 5300 block of West Race Avenue when they were suddenly fired upon.
