On February 11, 2018, Tyrone A. Grady, a 45-year-old African American male, was found dead on Chaparral Lane near Glen Carbon, Illinois. Responding to a call around 8:00 PM, Madison County Sheriff's Deputies discovered Grady's body in the street, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis was called in to assist with the investigation due to the severity and complexity of the case.
