Jazmyne Jeter, a 15-year-old African American girl, was tragically shot and killed on May 8, 2018, while sitting on the porch of a home in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. Jazmyne, a freshman at ACE Technical Charter High School, was known for her love of basketball and dance.
