Cedrick Williams, a 19-year-old African American male from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 19, 2018, in a shootout on the city's West Side. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. in the 200 block of North Pine Avenue in the Austin neighborhood. According to reports, Cedrick Williams and another individual met with a pair of men outside.
