Dennis Thomas Jr., a 33-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 19, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Uptown neighborhood, specifically in the 4600 block of North Clifton. According to reports, Dennis Thomas Jr. was sitting in a vehicle around 8:10 a.m. when an assailant approached him on a bicycle and opened fire, shooting him multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
