Terrence Brooks, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 25, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the South Shore neighborhood, specifically in the 2400 block of East 75th Street. Witnesses reported hearing three gunshots, and Brooks was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds to his head and right shoulder. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled his death a homicide.
