Sanchez Rhodes, a 20-year-old African American male from East St. Louis, IL, tragically lost his life on October 20, 2018. Rhodes, a former track star at East St. Louis High School, was shot while driving on St. Clair Avenue near Interstate 64. The incident occurred in the 3000 block of St. Clair Avenue, where Rhodes was struck in the head by a bullet, leading to his untimely death.
