Matthew E. Lockett, a 24-year-old African American male from East St. Louis, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on December 30, 2018, in O'Fallon, Illinois. The incident occurred at the Castle Acres Mobile Home Park, located in the 1700 block of West Highway 50. At approximately 6:52 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired and found Lockett suffering from a gunshot wound in the middle of the street.
