Taj Smith, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 21, 2019, in Riverdale, Illinois. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed that Taj Smith's death was a result of a homicide. He was shot and killed in the 100 block of West 146th Street in Riverdale. Taj Smith resided in the 15300 block of South Park Avenue in South Holland, Illinois.
