Roosevelt Bourne III, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on September 2, 2019, in Riverdale, Illinois. The incident occurred at approximately 10:37 p.m. at the intersection of 137th Street and Atlantic Avenue. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Roosevelt Bourne III sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
