Nicholas Dukes, a 31-year-old man from Merrillville, Indiana, was fatally shot on December 14, 2020, in Riverdale, Illinois. The incident occurred around 4:25 p.m. in the 14500 block of South Halsted Street. According to the Cook County medical examiner's office, Dukes was shot multiple times and pronounced dead about 20 minutes after the shooting.
