On the evening of May 14, 2014, Ronald D. Smith III, a 32-year-old male, was fatally shot in the 13700 block of South Parnell Avenue in Riverdale, Illinois. Following the incident, he was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 9:14 p.m. Smith resided in the 15600 block of Lexington Avenue in Harvey, Illinois.
