Shukeyina Godfrey, a 31-year-old African American woman, was tragically murdered on April 26, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 5200 block of West Quincy Street, where she was found near a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Shukeyina was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The brutal nature of the crime was evident as her truck had over 100 bullet holes, highlighting the severity and senselessness of the violence that took her life.
