Derrick Orange, a 32-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on April 27, 2019, in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred inside a home located in the 11200 block of South Homewood Avenue. At approximately 2:23 a.m., Derrick Orange was shot in the torso by an unknown assailant.
