Robert Owen III, a 44-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on July 17, 2022, in the 10400 block of South Corliss Avenue, located in the West Pullman neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and Owen was pronounced dead at the scene. His death added to the growing list of homicides in Chicago, a city grappling with high rates of gun violence.
