Phillip Jerome Butler, a 30-year-old African American male from Rockford, Illinois, tragically lost his life on July 29, 2019. Born on July 27, 1989, Phillip was known for his work in various jobs around Rockford, including roofing, and enjoyed bowling at Don Carter Lanes. He left behind two sons, Phillip J. Butler Jr. and AH'Maree Butler, and a daughter, AR'Manii Butler. Phillip's death was part of a double homicide that also claimed the life of 29-year-old Trifari Hughes.
