On August 18, 2019, Michael Dione McGee, a 45-year-old African American male from Rock Island, Illinois, was found with gunshot wounds on his front lawn. He was transported to UnityPoint Health – Trinity in Rock Island, where he was pronounced dead.
Michael was born on August 20, 1973, in Rock Island. He attended Grant Elementary, Edison Junior High, and graduated from Rock Island High School in 1991.
