Neal David Sumrell, a 34-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 23, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. Sumrell was fatally shot in a violent incident that also left a 28-year-old woman critically injured. The shooting occurred in the 4200 block of Iowa Street in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
