Jabari Davis, a 44-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 15, 2019, in Garfield Park, Chicago. The incident occurred around 6:29 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Adams Street. According to the Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Davis was struck in the chest and side by gunfire. He was subsequently transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
