Terrance Brooks, a 32-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 26, 2019, in the South Chicago neighborhood. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. when Brooks stepped out of a car in the 8300 block of South Crandon Avenue. A male suspect approached him and fired multiple shots, striking Brooks in the head. Despite attempting to flee, Brooks collapsed nearby and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled his death a homicide ...
