Isiah Maclin, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on December 14, 2019, in the South Deering neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in an alley located in the 10800 block of South Hoxie Avenue. According to the Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Isiah was approached by multiple individuals who fired shots at him. He was struck six times in the chest and twice in the neck, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
