John H. Smith, a 20-year-old male, was tragically shot to death on February 7, 2020, in an apartment located in the 400 block of Sherman Avenue in Aurora, Illinois. Police responded to reports of a shooting just before midnight and found Smith with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
