Alando Harris, a 47-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 6, 2020, in East St. Louis, Illinois. Harris, along with his cousin Cedric Gibson, 28, was fatally shot while traveling westbound on Interstate 64 near mile marker 3. The incident occurred around 8:45 PM as they were returning home from a convenience store. The two men were in a silver Pontiac G6 when they were ambushed and shot multiple times.
