Brein Metts, a 22-year-old male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 13, 2020. On that evening, Peoria police responded to a call at the 1700 block of North Great Oak Road regarding reported shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found no victims at the scene. Shortly after, Brein Metts arrived at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center with a gunshot wound. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
