On May 26, 2020, Darryl Greer, a 28-year-old male from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. Greer was selling an item on a corner when an individual in a red-colored vehicle opened fire, hitting him multiple times. He was rushed to Norwegian American Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
