Jazzlyn Robinson, a 15-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on June 4, 2020, in Sauk Village, Illinois. She was fatally shot in the head at her home on 218th Street around 8:50 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed that she died the following day at Comer Children’s Hospital in Chicago. The autopsy revealed that Jazzlyn's death was a result of a gunshot wound to the head, and it was ruled a homicide.
