Tonika Flager, a 43-year-old African American woman from Washington Park, IL, tragically passed away on August 12, 2022. Her body was discovered in the 1500 block of Westmoreland Avenue shortly after 7 a.m. on that fateful Friday. Tonika was born on July 6, 1979, at Scott Airforce Base, IL, and was known for her intelligence and loving nature. She enjoyed working on puzzles with her grandmother, dancing, and music.
