In the early spring of 2008, the life of a young Baltimore man was tragically cut short, leaving a family to mourn and a community with unanswered questions. Lemell Omar Barnes, a 22-year-old male, was killed on March 12, 2008. His death, which occurred in the 2800 block of Spelman Road, was classified as a homicide.
