On June 24, 2020, Jessie D. Gregory, a 20-year-old individual from Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at a residence located in the 8000 block of South Stewart Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood on the city's South Side. Two other individuals were also wounded during the shooting inside the home. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the victims to a nearby hospital, where Jessie D. Gregory was pronounced dead.
