Brian Carrion, a 20-year-old male from Glenview, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on July 23, 2020, near the Howard Street CTA Red Line station in Evanston. The incident occurred in the early morning hours following a confrontation involving gang members. According to prosecutors, Carrion, who was developmentally delayed and living at a youth home, was not initially involved in the altercation.
