Roneka Brown, a 33-year-old African American woman from East St. Louis, Illinois, was tragically killed on August 10, 2020. She was found fatally shot inside an SUV along with Timothy Giroux, a 45-year-old man from Palmyra, Missouri. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Division Avenue in East St. Louis. Both victims had been shot multiple times, and their deaths were classified as a double homicide. The Illinois State Police were called to investigate the case.
