Dieon Delay, a 22-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on August 10, 2020, in the Grand Crossing neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. in the 7700 block of South Ingleside Avenue. According to Chicago police, Dieon Delay sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and managed to transport himself to Jackson Park Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County medical examiner's office later identified the victim as Dieon Delay, who resided in south ...
