Dantrel Johnson, a 27-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on October 18, 2020, in East Garfield Park, Chicago. The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. when an unidentified individual entered a home in the 200 block of North Sacramento Boulevard and opened fire on the occupants. Johnson was struck in the leg and arm and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
