Wilbert Michael Flowers

In the late summer of 2008, the life of Wilbert Michael Flowers, a 31-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore. On Tuesday, August 26, 2008, Flowers was fatally shot in the 800 block of E. 43rd Street. The incident added to a year that, while seeing a decrease in homicides from the previous year, still witnessed numerous acts of violence across the city.
