Shanvonte Jackson, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 9, 2021, in a shooting incident in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. while Shanvonte Jackson was traveling in a vehicle along with Tiarra Robinson, an 18-year-old African American female.
