Marta Torres, a 61-year-old Hispanic woman, tragically lost her life on January 9, 2021, in Evanston, IL. Marta, who was a dedicated teacher's assistant at the Washington School in the Evanston/Skokie School District 65, was known for her infectious positive energy and her love for teaching. She was affectionately called "Chacha" by her grandchildren and was cherished by her family and friends for her kindness and generosity.
